A female character I've been (slowly) creating at the Animation Academy...I'm not really into drawing comic-book style designs, but I'm making an effort to. So I've been looking at a lot of Bruce Timm, J. Scott Campbell, etc. for references (but I noticed that they don't have any black characters...maybe I haven't searched hard enough cos i'm not a comic-book nerd =p ) ...

If you want good black comic girls, go to http://www.kharupt.com/. Look in the "personal" section of his portfolio. As a bonus, he always has a great soundtrack on his site.
